• Advising Craig Mostyn Group in relation to logistics and freight arrangements
• Advising Sadleirs Transport Group in multiple matters relating to security (carrier’s liens, warehousemen’s liens and contractual charging clauses), unfair preference claims from liquidators of customers, disputes over damage to transported goods, non-payment by customers, tenders, disputes with transport providers in relation to carriage rates
• Acted for CBH in rail access dispute with Brookfield Rail in relation to grain rail network in Western Australia (extensive proceedings involving rail access application, access to tariff information and advice in relation to rail access regime)
• Acting for a training provider delivering OH&S induction training, assessment and compliance materials to Rio Tinto and Pilbara Rail
• Acted for gold explorer in relation to construction of Roy Hill railway across exploration tenement
• Acted for vendor in proposed sale of a rail inspection technology and business to US based rail technology companies
• Acted for Coogee Chemicals in relation to construction of a private rail sidings and gantries in Kwinana (approval, easements, leases, permits, construction contract, Brookfield interconnection agreement, negotiation with rail safety regulator)
• Advised Oakajee Port and Rail in relation to numerous matters, including project agreements
• Prepared shareholders and development agreement in relation to Yilgarn iron ore project including development of rail ore haul solution
• Advised in relation to contract for electronic ticketing system supplied to Queensland Rail
• Reviewing and prepared numerous agreements in relation to rail freight agreements, siding licenses, leases, etc
• Acting for Lionel Samson Group on numerous commercial transactions across the transport sector
